'Dying for Daylight' features story by True Blood author

Nov 9th 2010 10:42PM (Joystiq)
@Kyogissun
However, I do wanna say that this 'game' does have potential to suck if it 'is' just a crappy 'hidden objects' game. If it's a point and click adventure game a la telltale games, it 'might' not be too bad. =/

But for now, I'll just sit and wait for TB's 4th season to get my multi-genre tackling show fix. Bummer Big C and Weeds are done with new episodes next week, at least In Treatment 'just' started up again.

@Altairio
Because you know, there's absolutely no dark comedy or heavy level of gore in it to help it appeal to wider audiences, is there?

Way to just blindly stereotype the viewers of that show buddy. Next time, check out the source material before you go and make fun of people who enjoy it. :D

Heavy Rain's deleted scenes exposed, reveal 'supernatural' connection for origami killer

Nov 8th 2010 10:59AM (Joystiq)
I truly wish they could have worked out a method of making those supernatural elements work in the game, because in my honest opinion they seemed REALLY interesting and might have added a 'horror' touch that the game could have used.

It's fine otherwise... Maybe though in a year or so, we'll see a Director's Cut version of the game get released for like 40 bucks and it'll include a retelling of the story with those extra scenes and a new set of alternate endings.

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. After that is PoR and DoS.

Xbox 360 slim shipping today for $299; 250GB HDD, built-in Wi-Fi

Man, I don't know how to react... But I'm not fond of the pearl finish. I don't like consoles that I can 'fingerprint' up.

But that whisper quiet and built in wifi is tempting...

If I didn't already have an xbox.

Atlus and Frozenbyte tease '2011 digital distribution title' (and it's not Trine XBLA)

Jun 8th 2010 4:24PM (Joystiq)
To be clear, I have a PS3 and the game, I just want it for the 360 so ya know, I actually have friends to play the game with.

Not insulting the other console, just saying I have more people on my 360 friends list (having gotten it first) than my PS3 list.

Oh, trine on the Xbox, ri-

...What the hell, you don't want to release it onto the xbox? That shit would sell like gangbusters. You'll port Zeno Clash to the xbox, BUT NOT TRINE, OKAY GUYS, THAT MAKES TOTAL SENSE!

Good to hear, my thing with racing games has pretty much always been I either wanna just put the pedal to the floor or I wanna be grabbing power ups to take out my opponents.

Either way, as long as it's not a hardcore racing simulator, I'm happy. I tried Shift and even that wasn't my cup of tea. :x
