Considering the Harvest Moon and Rune Factory series is more successful here in the states, they're LOSING money by not getting their figurative shit in gear and getting titles like RF3, Welcome to the Wind Bazaar! and Twin Villages over here in the states.

Also, the series is overdue, IMHO, for a new Wii title. Tree of Tranquility was good and all, but just short of being amazing.

There's rumors though that Rune Factory 3 will be officially announced as being localized at E3. Cross your fingers and hope this is true...

Awww... Well here's hopes that Climax hasn't been exiled from the series for good, I wanna see where their spin on the series goes next, either in the form of an SH2 re-imagining or going into new character territory.

Or continuing to be debatable for canonicity, as I LOVE how the first has potentially turned the entire 'universe' upside down and leaves people open to speculation unlike any other series.

Maybe with the Zelda games that's true but there's no excuse for the lack of effort in pokemon.

I don't think people are asking for an epic, over the top, new age JRPG kind of story. I don't think ANYONE wants Pokemon to replicate Final Fantasy in terms of story and if they do, they're expecting too much.

But what I think people 'do' want is maybe a reason to take it a little bit more seriously and have a couple staples from traditional JRPG's. A cutscene or two would be nice. Characters you continuously encounter and interact with would be nice.

I don't 'want' to have to think of pokemon as a SPORT. I DISLIKE sports games because they're boring to me. I think when people say they want a story out of pokemon, they just want to see a little more. Hell, the last time I remember genuinely enjoying an antagonists storyline was with something like Team Rocket's leader being the Veridian Gym Master or how Red ended up being in HG/SS at the end.

...But I also agree that I see no reason why previous regions cannot be re-implemented into the game. I think at the least, Black and White needs to let us go back to Sinnoh.
