Finally a great conversation describing the difference between mobile and console gaming. Mobile gaming isnt going anywhere but comparing it to console gaming is talking about 2 different categories.
You know, when people say that FF13 is one of the worse they ever played people are totally exaggerating. No it isn't the best FF game, but its not the worst either, it was better than FF12. I want to play Versus as much as the next person but damn, they will release it when its ready.
@SolidSnake Thank you, that's all they had to do in the first place and the issue would've been killed, but its still kinda sad that they can't admit it was just their design tho...that why I don't like Apple...always try to point the finger at other people to take the heat off of them.
@elijahblake I agree with you 100%, I have a Droid and I would love to 2.2 that runs smoothly then 3.X that slows down my phone. People constantly blame Google for fragmentation but someone please explain why T-Mobile is still selling the G1? That phone is 2 yrs old. But this is perfect, manufacturers can't make phones with 2.1/2.2 and then the higher end devices will have 3.X, in my opinion that is perfect, I love my Droid and I can't wait for 2.2 and that will do me just fine.
@hated one Motorola isn't Apple, Apple is the ONLY company that can come out with one device and sell a million of them...crazy, I know, but what can you say(*shrugs shoulders*)
@TheLondonExchange what you seemingly don't understand is that here in the US, Apple iPhone can get so big because the main reason is that it is only on 1 carrier...not EVERYONE wants and iPhone and not EVERYONE wants to be on AT&T...that exclusivity deal is really gonna come back and hurt Apple...Android went the best route(the route webOS should've went) supply the software and let other people make hardware. Say what you want but no offense, a country with only and iPhone will totally suck, everyone has their own preference, mine is Android and will continue to be and if yours is the iPhone then that's cool, we can just continue to argue which one is better =)
@macboy988 Ok, no offense, but iPhone OS4 adds multi-tasking, wallpapers, themes, folders and spellcheck, and to correct you, Android users have had that. So blow us out the water with features we already have, now thats funny. Oh and just to comment on battery life, we all know Flash will lower the battery, just like HTML5 will, you might have forgot that its a damn cell phone...talking on it drains the battery, idiots. me personally, I dont use Flash, but its just the simple fact that its there to use. You people are all crazy for debating whether Flash is better than HTML5 or whether your phone is going to overheat because of Flash, and you can say what you want because everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but the 'Almighty Steve Jobs' said that Flash couldnt happen on a mobile device, and wow, shocker, Adobe proved him wrong. Throughout this debate over Flash/HTML5, people forget that this is all working on a CELL PHONE, cell phones they do have limitations. Im pretty sure Google is aware that Flash isnt going to draw people away from there iPhones, just like finally adding the ability to change your wallpaper isnt gonna make people switch from Android to an iPhone, people should just be happy that we are making technological advancements in the mobile market and making everything more accessable instead of debating, 'Flash this, Flash that and HTML5 this, HTML5 that', because NONE of us knows what the future holds, not even Steve Jobs.
@WillSmith Ugh, is the only argument people can bring up is battery life when talking about flash? Im pretty sure that Google will have an option to disable it, because not everyone will want it, me personally, I would like to have the CHOICE if i would like to have it or not. So how about this, wait until Adobe unviels it and shows it working to have all of these talks, but I will bet this, if Google and Adobe hits this one out the park, then Apple will ultimately have no choice but to implement it in their OS down the line.
@account5 Ok, I just have to say this, the quality of apps is not decided by the OS but its decided by the developer of the app, if Facebook wants to port over a half-assed app then that is their choice, but I can tell that you don't not use an Android phone because there are a lot of high quality apps, go try PicSay and Toutieur on the iPhone and get back with me, oh wait you don't have those apps on your iPhone. It was only a matter of time before Google came out with a tablet and to be honest, with you being a consumer you should be one of the main one excited to have all of these choices on what to buy, but I see Steve Jobs has brainwashed you too. So next time please do your reasearch on apps before you make a comment because you will continue to make an ass out of yourself.
