Thing is, the M3904 wasn't even out in 1994. Hell, I'm not even sure the M2616 was at that point. I think in 1994, Nortel was just integrating the Meridian systems into their line-up.

No, it's that you would never do those activities without some sort of protection because it's too dangerous. It's an analogy that you should never have sex without protection either because it's too dangerous. They're equating physical harm with the harm that may come to you from unprotected sex.
I am 6'3" and, after playing video games on consoles and computers for most of my life, have severe joint problems.
Frankly, the original XBox controller was the most comfortable for me (though the XBox 360 controller comes in a close second). My hands get all numb or cramped up playing with these controllers made for smaller-handed children (or Japanese people). The most uncomfortable for me is the PS2 controller. Probabaly why I don't play my PS2 much, sadly.

He looks like he's about to curse, but then composes himself enough to answer my query. If Sony is viewing this as a cheap Blu-Ray player instead of a video game console then Sony may have a problem. I think they viewed the PSP as a UMD player instead of a portable game system. It just seems like a lot of this is going to put-off the casual players.
This sounds exactly like what happened awhile back when Palm (I believe) was telling people that their units could produce a lot more colours simultaneously than they actually could. Same type of case I assume... and I don't remember them getting off scott-free either.

Great way to convert from *.wmv or something but it won't work for files that have been locked down with DRM.
