@zampano: Yeah I was afraid of that, especially when the wrong button can change the whole story outcome. Well hopefully she will learn the button layout too!
I really want to introduce my girlfriend to video gaming, and this game seems like might be a winner. So, I wanna know if a person who hasn't remembered (or doesn't know) the button mapping on the controller will be able to successfully play the game with it's QTE?
Now the question is, will ex-microsoft employee mr. Gabe Newell still ignore the growing oh so tempting PS3 market, or invest in some PS3 development classes for his developers?
If EA is smart they would make look-alikes with an option for gamers to change their name :) So player 1 would be GSP, player 2 is Anderson Silva... etc Give me a better gameplay than THQ with this option and I will buy the better game for sure.
It will sell, there is no doubt about. I will definitely rent it. If I can turn off the Heavy Metal music like I did in UFC, Devil May Cry I would play it, but here the metal is essential part of the game.
Imagine the game if it was with Adam Sandler and with Techno music theme (making a wild guess about the music here, cause it's another genre like HM where you either love it or hate it) and you will understand me venting my frustration, because I like Schafer's games.
@meist3r: Jack Black is one of those one pony trick "actors", like Adam Sandler for example. So you either like him or not. So is Heavy Metal, you either love it or hate it. Heavy Metal appealing to wide demographics is a little bit overstretch. I happen to not like both Jack and Heavy Metal, but I absolutely love previous Schafer games.
