I think this wouldn't be that much of a stretch for the game. They already offer ship models, uniforms, and species, as microtransactional items through an in game "C-Store"
Can someone please explain to me what in that trailer is new and exciting? Cuz all I saw was COD MW graphics with the same tired old weapons (oh, and the exploding crossbow, cuz GoW didn't do THAT) and the same type of tired level design. Oh, and some destructible environments. Welcome to what every other shooter has had for several years now. I loved COD MW but you can't expect me to want to buy it 4 times (MW, WaW, MW2, BO).
I'm surprised no one brought up the fact that this is a major blow for EA. id was set to publish their next game under EA and this kind of kills the Valve, Harmonix, id, indy trifecta they had going on.
