Console players, don't lose hope just yet.

@Mika101 Does resistance or mag have huge xx km^2 wide maps, robust destruction physics, and vehicles like helicopters or jets?

When BC2 was released for consoles, PC players complained about teams limited to 32 players. The reasoning was that all the crap going on during a BC2 match was just too taxing for the current gen of consoles to handle-- and if you've ever played BC2 on maps like Nelson Bay or Arica Harbor then you'd know; there are people dying, tanks exploding, trees falling walls crumbling, not to mention dust which is literally EVERYWHERE. Essentially, in order to make Frostbite work Battlefield lost the ability of 64 players and incredibly large maps that included jets. Now, if you compare losing 8 players from BC2 -> Battlefield 3 for console players, as opposed to losing 32 players from 2142 -> BC2 it's not quite so bad.
