Wow, the second contest in a row that i entered BEFORE the deadline. Now if I can just WIN one.

Engadget wins the People's Voice Webby in Consumer Electronics, and you can win a Droid Incredible!

Wow, I'm actually remembering to enter BEFORE the contest ends. Of course that's probably all the luck I can manage for one day, therefore eliminating me from the win. Oh, and congrats on the Webby win.

Marvel planning Flash game adaptations for download platforms

eh, flash... iphone... ipad... don't the editors at least read your sister (or apparently second cousin's) site? Let alone the fact that Marvel apparently missed Steevie J's seething memo and apparent hatred for all things (adobe) flash.

Hmmm... maybe if the prices include CS5, i'm in!

Just my joke on the adobe spat.

(Clarification... if it were to include the RETAIL version of CS5. Sadly, i'm sure i can spec out a win7 machine to the same and get my education discount for CS5... and STILL beat that price)

Contest: Win an Intel Core i7-920 PC processor

Wow, only 410ish comments so far. Pretty good odds, all things considered. Personally, it would solve my dilemma of what socket mobo to purchase. Good luck all!

Bell's Palm Pre now free -- in exchange for three years of your life

honestly, i wish more people would be "impressed" (or actually appalled/concerned in the US) with the NO CONTRACT price of $349cnd as opposed to the $549usd that Sprint gouges with. Nothing personal against Sprint, as the Droid/Eris were both the exact same price under no contract when first released. It just seems that the unsubsidized prices are borderline price-FIXING. I mean, come on, usually you're pretty much tied to a carrier for service since pretty much no phone has ALL the required bands (although, THAT i WOULD pay $600 for a phone... missed the boat there Google). Sorry, ino i'm ranty but sh*t... you can't tell me ANY of the smartphones cost as much as a $600 laptop (let alone a $300 netbook) to produce and the manufacturer and retailer are STILL making a profit. Feel free to tear apart my logic, but i'm tired of getting not only SCREWED by the US carriers (with mandatory data plans and ETF's) but getting totally F*CKED with their so-called "retail... no-contract" pricing.

/end rant and back to drinking *cheers*

Engadget's Black Friday giveaway, part eleven: win a 32GB Zune HD!

i'd probably give to mom or dad as they'd probably use it more than me... (since i'm usually at the computer more than away) but i'd definitely play around with it for a while first
