Thanks for the heads up...just got back from Fry's. The copy of the LE they brought me rattled so I opened it after paying. Sure enough it was scratched. They gave me another one immediately that didn't rattle and all is good...

""Budget" pricing in general is bad for the industry, and in the long run it's bad for the consumer. All you have to do is look how TakeTwo ruined the sports genre with their budget pricing. EA ruined the sports genre by releasing roster updates every year. Don't blame it on Take 2.

Man I knew it was a bad holiday season for games, but this proves it again...most of the winners were released at the START of the year. Jade Empire was what? April or May? Similar for God of War? I know RE 4 was in January...
