Ubisoft announces Fighters Uncaged for Kinect ... why were they caged in the first place?

Aug 18th 2010 3:08PM (Joystiq)
Uhm... In every single screenshot that shows the real life move next to the ingame one, there's at most one limb that is in the rough area that it's supposed to..

The header image for example: The legs are completely swiched around and not even then in the correct pose, the left arm is completely wrong, and the right arm is throwing a hook, whereas the game appears to be throwing a jab. Plus, the whole body is skewed.

I'd hold of on a purchase. There's bound to be at least somewhat good fighting games for the Kubect sometime soon..

Video: Skate 3 ramps up user-created content

They try to emphasize the improved graphics creator, but we still can't import graphics to it. C'mon EA, how about you actually try to improve the games functionality, instead of adjusting it slightly..

EA are getting crazy with these tiniest of changes to the game.
All of these gameplay changes could, and should, have been patched into FIFA10. But nooooooooooo. What do they care, as long as people blindly keep buying the next game, that highlights such enormous ground-breaking strides to the gameplay like how it's not possible to lop the keeper EVERY SINGLE TIME. Embarrassing..

Skate 3 cover revealed (plus: new dev diary and screens)

I bought the first two, but I don't think I'll be getting the third. They just don't seem to be trying enough to put out a great game. Always saving some stuff for the next one, which should always have been in the first one to begin with. It's really become an EA trademark with their yearly titles.

The game looks fantastic and I love the art style. It would have been a definitive purchase for me. Oh well. Hopefully it will make it's way to the PSN some time in the future..

Skate 3 hands-on: co-op career mode

Feb 15th 2010 6:49PM (Joystiq)
- "Dude, we could rebuild the entire park if we wanted to"
So there's a park editor? That's a rather good thing.

- Still no import graphics into the Skate Graphics Creator?

- The stickers idea just seems bad. Why not stop trying to think of strange gimmicks and working on the gameplay experience instead. While Skate and Skate 2 were fun games; they were nowhere near as good as they seem to believe they were.

It just seems like they are coasting with Skate 2 and 3. Putting a few gimmicks in there to please most people, without actually pushing themselves to innovate further to create an excellent game. "EA'ing it up"

Report: FIFA 10 moves 2.2 million units in the UK

The poor support they have offered after the games release is insane.
The Manager Mode does not work. Period. After 2, 3 or 4 seasons (depending on how lucky you are), the game will inevitability give you a overall balance of -2 billion. That is one of the 70+ confirmed bugs in Manager Mode alone.
The 10v10 club mode does not work. Except for the obvious constant disconnections, no teams get any points anymore. You just get negativ, no matter if you win or loose.
The gameplay is obviously messed up. The goalies will EVERY SINGLE TIME come off the goalline when an opponent comes through on goal, which will let him lobb your keeper every single time.
The game is just riddled with bugs and faults, yet EA refuses to do anything about it. But since they've already gotten hundreds of millions from us already, what do they care. They'll promote these bug fixes as major parts of the next game and foot a bunch of people thinking it's actually a much better game. It's like they're holding back fixes so they have some stuff left to do for the next game.
