i personally anticipate less hardware suprises (though the PR woman said there was more to reveil, she also said the hardware suprises were for hardcore gamers--like specs) and more SOFTWARE.

& let me clarify, nintendo's controller has been confirmed bluetooth enabled for almost a year. they're multiplayer service has been confirmed free for almost a year.

they are not putting a monopoly on HD storage, its completely expandable and accepts ipods, USB drives, etc. this is an absolute joke. i am furious.

isnt everything sony does a 1/2 assed imitation of their competitors. i seriously hope (especially because sony dismissed the wiimote as a gimmick at the beginning of their briefing) nintendo blows them back to kingdom come tomorrow.

this is over-priced, and THEFT. 6-dimensions isn't anything close the wii's controller which detects the position in 3-dimensional space. this is absolutely shameless, and i cant imagine any sensible human being NOT being offended by them,.

all of you tools complaining about it should keep it to yourselves. obviously you have nothing to associate it with. the only context you can use the name "wii" in is either (a) speculation or (b) criticism.

anyways, the rest of the world has grown to accept it. it's cute, and catchy, and really not awkward to use at all. the wii doesn't need a traditional name because nintendo is completely taking another angle (and their dedication to this is demonstrated with the name, and rumored specs). if you cant recognize the conscious efforts nintendo is taking to change the way you think of gaming, how you play gaming, what your parents think of gaming, than dont pay any mind to it. buy an xbox360.
