Xbox 360 USB data storage announced, coming April 6

Mar 26th 2010 3:19PM (Joystiq)
Next thing you will be telling me that POS Xbox can't even rip CD's to the HDD.... Something my PS3 has been able to do since 2006...

NPD: BioShock 2 Feb. PS3 sales just shy of 200k mark

Mar 12th 2010 1:59PM (Joystiq)
Bizzare they these publishers still don't get it. They shat on PS3 owners with the original Bioshock, and yet expect us all to rush out an buy the sequel?

I've got too many great PS3 exclusives playing right now to spend my cash with them. Why reward their disloyalty?

I also won't be buying any Valve titles either, when Valve come grovelling back to PS3.

Firmware 2.10 is now available for download

Dec 18th 2007 2:54AM (Joystiq Playstation)
The Xvid not working was invented by Joystiq to put their usual dampner on anything PS3.

Lets see how they turn today into a bad day. Full DivX and Xvid support, BD1.1, new visualization, voice changer on PS3, Internet radio on PSP.

Sure they will try and derail it by claiming that they have DivX files that don't play, but then the idiots cannot read, as it clearly states DivX 3.1 is not supported...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix giving Xbox 360 HD DVD players fits?

Dec 17th 2007 6:20PM (Engadget HD)
My 360 HD DVD constantly locks up. My mates HD-A2 fairs a little better, it plays but stalls frequently making the movie unwatchable.

My brothers Ps3 plays the Blu-ray version fine however. I'm considering selling my 360 and HD DVD anyway, I may sell the disc seperately and get the PS3 and Blu-ray versions myself. Seems like a more trouble-free experience.

PS3 firmware version 2.10 apparently coming tomorrow

Are you an idiot?

Xbox 360 sending out disruptive 2.4GHz vibes?

OMG, Word on the streets, is a recall, certainly in the US, and perhaps globally.

Man as if the RROD fund was not deep enough....

Remember that PSN game, Snakeball?

Dec 16th 2007 5:32AM (Joystiq Playstation)
1/ It's not "coming soon", it's "Here now".
2/ It's not got the features talked about, it's a intermediate version that adds rumble, custom soundtracks and other tweaks. There is a build in store to upgrade to the multi-player version.

Remember that PSN game, Snakeball?

Who cares about non-existant title news..

MUCH bigger (and am suprised it's not been reported here), is that the best game on PSN, just got better.

SuperStardustHD has been updated to v2.01, and now has custom soundtracks, rumble support, improved leaderboards, and loads of other great tweaks.. There is also hints to a multi-player update, costing £2.49, and a free demo coming soon...

Notes from Reggie's Wii shortages conference call

Dec 15th 2007 5:12AM (Joystiq)
Anyone find it hillarious all these press releases about Wii shortages, and how they are stopping advertising this holiday season and so on...

Guess what, these press releases in themselves are nothing more than adding to the Wii hype. It's nintendo's plan. Are you all stupid???

Miyamoto claims he's never heard of Ratchet & Clank

Dec 15th 2007 5:00AM (Joystiq Playstation)
Hmm, does anyone actually believe the spin he has never heard of the R&C series? By denying he has ever heard of it (which is a ludicrous claim), just makes it sound even more like they borrowed ideas...
