Could not have said it better myself. Harmonix really does deserve props for thinking ahead and licensing these sorts of deals. The fact that they are getting major retailers to subsidize the transfer is just icing on the cake!

My thoughts exactly. This is a really dumb release date for this game.

This is good news, but it still probably isn't as powerful as current high end gaming pcs. In addition, Nintendo will still be behind a generation behind once Microsoft and Sony release their next console iterations.

That said, I'm happy Nintendo is going HD at the very least.

I believe he is saying that if you run a game in 320x200 (windowed) on a modern monitor it would take up a very small window, and you would have to have your nose in the screen just to see what you're doing.

I suppose that is a small qualifier. :/ I meant they age well as long as you have the mod. Unless of course you want to play a shooter without mouse aim and 640x480 resolution, in which case it aged just fine.

Doom 1 and 2 actually age pretty well and are still well worth playing. You just need the GZDoom mod which adds mouse aim and improved graphics with resolutions to match today's monitors. Definitely worth picking up for those of you who may not have played it back in the day.

I loved dynasty warriors 3, maybe a bit too much. I unlocked absolutely everything in that game, maxed out all the characters and even got xtreme legends and everyone's 5th weapon to top it off.

I bought 4 when it came out and just got bored after awhile. Haven't bought another one since, but hopefully this one will be different enough to change my mind.
