Street Fighter pros offering paid lessons over Xbox Live and PSN

Aug 9th 2010 6:31PM (Joystiq)
Hilarious that gootecks is trying to get that kind of cash. Who the hell does he think he is? When's the last time he placed at any tourny? He doesn't even play that much anymore lol.

Sadly I'm sure plenty of noobs will pay $50 just to here some name tell you to work on x, y and z.... what a crock.

The guy that was stone that held Perseus' shield, that guy gets never gets any credit. Yeah I know he's been there prior to the movie, but he's in the movie and by the gods if it wasn't for those uber stone holding hands of his the hero would have been punked like all the rest by Medusa.

Joyswag: Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

SotN will be the majority answer and the obvious. Screw that, gimmie the classic Super Castlevania 4 from the Snes! By far the most badass Castlevania of them all, none of that sissy pretty dracula son/reincarnation pretty am I a girl or a boy nonsense.

Review: Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

Aug 4th 2010 4:26PM (Joystiq)
I'm enjoying it. Giant bomb as well as gametrailers gave more leeway than this review of the game. Make no mistake, it's a multiplayer game though so if you're looking for single player you will be disappointed. I'm enjoying going back through each level with the different characters. Soma and Alucard are interchangeable, the belmont ripoff isn't as bad as you'd think and the two girls are all about magic.

I think $15 was a bit steep for it, but all DLC is trying to get away with murder these days on prices. Grinding for loot is strangely more fun than leveling and you share the loot between all characters. The 30 minutes isn't that big a deal as there is plenty of time to explore everywhere and down the boss before it hits, and it makes for good short sessions of multi.

Not sure why it's called HD, that is the biggest issue. Otherwise solid fun if you have the friends to play it with.

Forge. Forge by far. Seeing what you can do with it on the trailers they've shown from Comic-con.....wow.

Review: StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty

yeah I love blizz as much as the next guy, but ever since they announced 3 separate games it just reeks of more kotick douchebaggery......yeah that's not a word but it sums him up.

Not paying $180 to play all 3 single player campaigns, all I ever enjoyed in the lst SC anyways with all the zerg rush mentality. Three or four years down the road when it's in another battle chest I'll pick them up.
