My At&T is down in South Florida

V-Series Challenge participants announced, no surprises inside

Oct 24th 2009 3:28PM (Autoblog)
One of the German automakers should just enter and send one of there experienced drivers over to beat the living crap out GM then take the CTS-V to Germany hang it up in the streets with a nose and crush it. German engineering will always be better its just a simple fact of life.

How would you change Sony's PSP Go?

Oct 24th 2009 9:40AM (Engadget)
I'm sorry you live in a box. Look its very simple why physical media will be non-existent in about 5 years. First why would you let distributers of games like Wal-Mart and Gamestop sell the product when the console maker itself like Microsoft and Sony with its own service Xbox Live and PSN not take the cash for themselves. On the other hand developers and producers don't want physical media traded wether that be by friend to friend sharing or trade value distributers. By selling digital media they both will benefit so why not do it. Plus its already a proven market Steam and Direct 2 Drive do really well on PC. Physical media at least in the gaming market is almost gone because console services are advanced enough to support huge digital downloads and producers are greedy.

How would you change Sony's PSP Go?

Oct 24th 2009 12:24AM (Engadget)
I think the PsPGo has the right physical design besides it needing a second analogue stick. For all you guys complaining about this not have physical media needs time travel back to the 1990's and early 2000's because physical media is almost dead just accept it and you can thank Gamestop for that btw. The huge issue with both the PSP and the NDs is they need to desperately find a way for indie developers to bypass ESRB if they can't do that both are dead in the next couple of years anyways. When I can get the same game on the Apple App store and pay almost $7- $10 less for the media there's a problem. Once Apple throws in either their own PPC, targa, or snapdragon Nintendo and Sony are in a world of hurt in the handheld market.

CTS-V Challenge opened up to any would-be Caddy killers

Oct 15th 2009 11:00PM (Autoblog)
Who cares if the CTS-V can beat any car its POS and always will be just like every other American car and dealer. Our American car companies have there head up their butts if they think beating someone on a track is going to make customers buy a second grade car. I mean even market research shows most people who buy American cars don't even have a college diploma so how can their market even afford this. I drive the ultimate driving experience and I always will, I will drive German for my entire life. No matter if I go to BMW, Audi, or Mercedes I'm treated like a loyal customer and at least with my own experience with BMW I have had my car for 4 years and have yet to pay a dime for anything that has been done to my car no matter what it was no questions asked. Germany and its car companies are just in another league and always will be.

Nike+ iPod equals a weight loss success formula

Sep 6th 2009 11:54PM (TUAW.com)
Just today I was looking into Nike+ how ironic. I'm a very athletic person who has really let himself go I should be around 155, but I'm pushing 185. It's been a little under 4 years since I stopped playing tennis competitively and knowing how much of a great player I was when I decided a desk job instead of playing pro tennis (hardest decision in my life as a freshmen in high school because no doubt in my mind I would be pro right now). I just can't take a step on the court for fear of wanting to pick it back up and so I have done absolutely nothing physical since. I'm such a competitive person I think Nike+ can really help me I'm just not sure the buy in to Nike+ is a chance I can take considering a pair of Pegasus 26, sensor, arm band (I have a iPhone 3gs), and a sport band is pushing over $220.

AT&T tries to repair the PR damage

Sep 5th 2009 11:55AM (TUAW.com)
I see a lot of you guys on here saying you can't wait till the AT&T exclusive contract is up. News flash for you iPhone will always be exclusive to one carrier because Apple likes controlled environments. If iPhone was to brace multiple carriers it becomes uncontrolled, some carriers are going to be able to offer better than others. Plus it's more inconvenience for Apple as a company selling iPhones on different carriers because your going to have to change production and retail. The fact is when the contract is up they will renew with AT&T it's just too easy and well what is it like 98% are satisfied with iPhone which means most of the 98% are satisfied with AT&T. Also guys look at it this way do you really think other networks that are great now like Sprint and T-Mobile could withstand a shock wave of customers because of iPhone exclusivity to there network; I don't think so. AT&T may not be the greatest network considering the price we pay and the lack of customer service they give us, but look at the top right of your iPhone screen I bet 99% of you say AT&T.

Sprint follows T-Mobile's lead, wants $350 for HTC Touch Pro2

Aug 31st 2009 10:02PM (Engadget)
This phone costs $2197.76 from Sprint on a 2year with 450mins with everything Data. On At&T the comperable Iphone with 16gb the plan costs $2446.52. Where the Iphone becomes cheaper is in instant messeging because if you have 1500 text your bill is $2297 and with 200 texts its around $2097. So really the argument about which phone is more expensive is void what really matters is if you have the time to cook your WinMo device. I really wanted the TP2 I waited for it, but I really don't have the time to cook with 6 Advance Placement classes and I really need a phone ASAP for Student Government plus the App store has some things I could use for school. I'm a true Microsoft fan and I know a lot are waiting for this great phone, but the question is do you have the time to cook your device.

Sprint follows T-Mobile's lead, wants $350 for HTC Touch Pro2

Aug 31st 2009 8:22PM (Engadget)
Well I really want a Windows Mobile phone (Microsoft Fanboy) and I love the Touch Pro 2, but Sprint is charging $350 for the phone and $450 just to walk out with it. Money is really not an issue for me, but for just $249 for 2 years I can get the Iphone which.I won't have to mess with it unlike WinMo and it has great school apps which I can use. Sorry Steve I'm really sorry and I hate to do it, but I'm going to AT&T to buy the enemy tomorrow. It's so hard to write this I really feel like a backstabber because my love for Microsoft is really strong. When your just $250 away from not having to waste time to mess with the OS which I don't have it starts to become really appealing.
