EA announces new Xbox 360 Lord of the Rings

I think it's pointless to play an RTS on a console. PC all the way for this one.

WHo cares, this game looks like crap anyway. Has anyone seen the trailers?! It looks stupid.

My brother barely played video games until I hooked him up with XBOX live. Now that's all he does. I thought I was bad, but he is even worse. Plus he's better than me now.

The only time I've really been hooked on a game was World of Warcraft. There was about a week period where it just consumed me. Now I just play it off and on.

New Far Cry installments on Xbox & Xbox 360

I love Ubisoft. I agree that it may not look "next-gen", but it is sure to be improved upon. I'll probably wait on playing instincts until the 360 version comes out.

Goldeneye online would be sweet!!! Now if I could just find out where all my old friends went, then we could see if our skillz improved over the years. Ahh the memories.

2006 predictions for thought

I thought Resident Evil 5 wasn't coming out until 2007-2008 timeframe. When are the people who made Ico, and SOTC going to make a game for the PSP? I thought Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were pretty exceptional, and I think it's obvious that the Revo will own E3, we have barely even seen what it has to offer.

PC Magazine gaming predictions

Dudes, Sega's like gonna come out of nowhere with a new console that will incorporate all three systems and it's gonna totally pwn. It'll be called the...

PS360olutionCast

First it'll have the capability to support up to 10 HDTV's at once with an output of 2160PI, a must for any casual or hardcore gamer. It'll come standard with the F-Ray drive, a media drive that no one supports yet, but eventually they will cause Sega says so. And it can hold like a terabyte of storage. WHOA!!!

Don't even get me started on the online capabilities of this beast. It's going to have neutron transactions. For $10 you can change the color of a strand of hair for one of your characters in the game. That's awesome. Also, I can't wait til I buy an unpdated version of the games I already own. I mean for a mere $60 I can get a game I already own that might kinda be a little more graphically superior sometimes, but not really, it just has some shiny surfaces and an extra shadow here and there. It's gonna totally rock.

In addition the controller will be wireless, but you have to keep it plugged into the wall most of the time cause the 4 D batteries it takes to power it only last for about an hour (20 min with the rumble feature). Also if you want, for no apparent reason, you can swing the controller around like a madman. With the built in highly advanced movement sensoring technology it might help you win the game. Plus the console has a built in camera so your pals can watch you online as you make a complete fool of yourself, and can pay a neutron transaction to add cool effects to the video.

I'm telling you Sega is pulling out all stops in 2006 to make this happen. Bet on it.

2005 Xbox 360 success

Okay I got my XBOX 360 in Iraq at the local Base Exchange. They had to draw names just to see who could purchase one because they only had 11 in stock. Luckily I got one, bought Call of Duty 2, and PDZ.

Call of Duty 2 is great, I liked it a lot. PDZ is okay. But the system is a great piece of Hardware. I like streaming my Ipod and rocking out to some System of a Down while playing Call of Duty 2.

Overall right now, it is so-so. Probably due to the fact that I have been playing games for awhile (not to mention the poor launch lineup and my lack of an HDTV), a new console like this doesn't excite me. The only time I remember being extremely excited was when I first picked up my Sega Dreamcast. Since then, gaming just hasn't been the same. It's almost like I've gotten over the initial high, and now I am just feeding an addiction just to stay normal.

Joystiq Review: Condemned Criminal Origins (Xbox 360)

I want to play this game sooo bad. This was at the top of my list.

I'm in Iraq and recently got my XBOX 360 at the local Base Exchange. They had a raffle just to see who would be able to purchase one of the consoles. Lucky me.
