Oct 9th 2010 9:31AM (Joystiq)Nurbs are a form of CG that pre-dates polygons, the only reason we use polygons in almost everything is due to their tiny impact on resources compared to the higher detail nurbs. Due to current tech we can use nurbs more freely without using to many resources.
Ambient Occlusion is a form of rendering that allows the light to be gathered in the scene and re-calculated for higher quality shadows.
