Nov 19th 2008 5:17AM (Joystiq Xbox)
Yeah, like he said. Start a game if you dont get prompted when you sign in. Xbox has never been gayer... Wow atleast hot chicks respect the wii. This is just pretend-in-the-closet bullshit! Install to game & chatting are the only things worth a fucking damn. Sadly.... That should have been shipped at launch, not at launch +3... YEARS. Microsoft FAIL

Shipping this week: Turducken edition

Why in god's name would ANYONE BUY THIS GAME. It's the SAME GAME as NCAA 09 - which is EA Sport's WORST piece of shit, EVER. That happens to be hillarious because last year's NCAA/Madden (same game retards) were also terrible; yet somehow... 09 seems to raise the bar in patheticness. It's a buggy piece of trash. Skip it until they get off their asses and FIX THE GAMES. Jesus Christ fokes so they added a slightly better lighting modem and afew new textures. GET OVER IT you freakin 13 year old-dont-know-any-better fanboys.

Every year this series get's worse because you crap-heads keep accepting it. It wont get any better until you STOP BUYING IT.

X3F TV -- X3F Impressions: Nascar 09 Demo

Jun 8th 2008 9:42PM (Joystiq Xbox)
This is no diffrent than 08. It's still a buggy piece of shit. It's still impossible to be competative against live opponents without the microsoft wheel; yet the game is so typical of ANY EA Sports game, or NASCAR game. It suffers from premature ejaculation. You HAVE to have a steering wheel to play, and it only takes minutes of playing to cause a loss of force feedback.

Not to mention the STILL shitted flag rules... Congrats bitches! You couldn't fix a god damned problem in 08, so you carried an unchanged game engine into 09, add some particle and lighting affects and call it finished.

Fuck anyone that buys this, NCAA or MADDEN for letting them continue to get away with this bullshit.

Oil sludging atonement: Toyota settles class-action suit

Feb 19th 2007 9:59PM (Autoblog)
Toyota/Lexus has replaced LESS than 4,000 of the just under 2,400,000 engines sold in the USA.

And of the replaced engines, only just over 300 actually qualified for the good faith extended warranty in the first place.

Which means you must proven that you have *attempted* to maintain the engine by provening that you have changed the oil once in the last 10,000 miles.

There is no sludge problem... If there was, there would have been recalls, buy-backs, and class action lawsuits that paid money.

The lawsuit did nothing but extend the good faith warranty 180 days.

The criteria to meet the good faith extended warranty has not changed.
THIS IS NOT A RECALL.

Sludge in Toyota engines is a COMPLETE owner/operator problem. Not a design problem....

BMW 335i lays down fat dyno numbers

Aug 22nd 2006 7:33PM (Autoblog)
What BMW has done is exactly what every compact diesel turbo, small gas turbo engine, and what some companies have been doing with larger engines i.e. the "assymetrically turbocharged" (single bank turbo) Saab v6's. They're not turboing it to make more peak power. They're turbocharging it to give it a simply massive bottom end.

BMW's i6 motors don't rev very fast, and are relatively peaky powerbands if you ever drive one around for very long. The sole purpose in that engine coming with a turbo is to give it more grunt at around 1000-1500rpm than the previous engine had at it's 3500rpm torque peak.
