It's going to go full circle, like the Rocky Balboa (rocky 6 movie) and go back to Combat Evolved. I wonder if they are going to change the way how FPS games are played again.
beautiful, absolutly beautiful. Its funny that Ant farm, the ad agency for MW2, was patting themselves on the back when amazing ads like this and the"Believe" ad campaign for halo 3 are out there.
Simply amazing. Totally different approach from the COD games and BF games(yes i know EA), here's hoping that the game is actually more human than simply just being about action like MW has become.
As opposed to religion which has killed millions of people. Christianity has supported genocides and mass murders, Islam has inspired suicide bombings yet these are accepted as great moral forces, whereas video games are reviled as killers when there has been very few deaths related to them and in fact probably the same as books, music and film.
I'm pretty excited. DICE is an awesome developer and I was very disappointed with MW2. It was an over hyped expansion pack to COD4.
Plus EA has recently shown that they are willing to take risks and make amazing games, like Mirror's Edge(its really fun once you get used to it), Bioware games etc.
Analysts are idiots. I'm sure people will buy the map packs but you can already tell people are dissatisfied by the MW2.
I am, i wish i hadn't wasted 60 dollars on an expansion pack( its not a full game, think about it).. If they require you to have the new map pack to play in the lists, ill probably just stop playing, if I play for that long that is, BFBC2 and MAG look sweet.
R&C is insanely popular and the market for the games are totally different. There is some overlap(like me, I love COD4 and R&C) but for the most part i dont think its going to affect game sales.
Both games have longevity and even if initial sales are split among the two they will still do very well.
COD:MW2 is obviously going to skull f*** everything in sales anyways.
