Things like this are just ridiculous. It's similar to how people take naked/near naked anime lookin' characters and put them into RPG's like Skyrim,Oblivion, or any other game that allows mods. Simply stupid.
If this happens, I may fall in love with " Notch ". Psychonauts is one of my all time favorite games ever. I've beaten so many times, and I just got done playing it about a couple of months ago. It's one of the funniest and most clever games to have ever been created. Go Notch! Go Tim Schafer!
@Khalus I'm really tired of this mentality from people. The texture pack is a 3 Gb download off of steam, that alone is HUGE! The odds of Bethesda creating a better water texture than Isoku is none, there is no way they did better than him, but everyone elses textures look like shit. The only texture pack that comes close to keeping the legit look of Skyrim would be the Serious HD Landscape re-text at 2048, and Beautiful Skyrim - HD Weaponry. Skyrim HD - 2K Textures, may look great, but it changes quite a bit of the look from Vanilla. I'm pretty sure that this texture pack ups the resolution for every item, keeps the vanilla look of Skyrim, and that's why it'll be absolutely brilliant. Maybe then people will stop worrying about Re-textures and make new/different weapons or quests, or something in general that doesn't have to go with changing the original textures. To put into perspective, 2K Skyrim is roughly 850 megabytes. Those 3 gigs are being put to extreme use.
@philmcfail I can give you some insight as to how ridiculous the Combat is for the Witcher 2, but keep in mind, I've never played Dark/Demon Souls. I do understand that in the Souls game everything is merciless, and so is the Witcher, both 1 and 2. Combat is so huge in the Witcher 2 that forgetting to block, parry, or dodge can screw you up and get you killed. I've had plenty of times where I got over-run by a plethora of enemies, or single handily owned by 2 opponents because I'm so used to being on the offensive. On-top of the Combat, the magic goes hand in hand, using the defensive magic is a life savior for sure, as is Alchemy in the game. The fighting in both games is extremely fluid and it does feel incredibly right, so I Hope that gives you the insight you need.
Everytime I read Scribblenauts, I see it as Psychonauts, man I sure do miss that game, wish there was a sequel for it! =( Sorry this is totally off-topic, I didn't even read the article.
@eat it You're right, I never looked at it in a 5 year + outlook. If it's like that then the best choice is to get the next Xbox first, because it's pretty obvious that Sony Playstation cares very much about exclusives, unlike Microsoft.
@eat it No matter which way you go, Playstation first, followed by Xbox, or Xbox first, followed by the Playstion, you will always run out of First Party games to play. It's inevitable. Instead, just go with what you think you will play Multi-platforms on more. If it's a PC, well then the consoles are just exclusive toys.
