UFC Undisputed 2010 trailer reminds us of MJ, makes us sad

Dec 13th 2009 4:44PM (Joystiq)
Yeah. And what's with this obsession with Kimbo? What a terrible and boring fighter. It's a sad state of affairs in MMA that a joke like Kimbo gets more attention than real MMA athletes.

Warhammer developers weigh in on 1.1a RvR changes

Gutts:

You say they have no community, yet the devs post all the time on the major fansites. I've seen more feedback from the WAR dev on fansites than Blizz on their official sites. Maybe you just don't know where to look.

And WTF is with all the hate? Mark J. didn't even say ANYTHING in this article and you're calling him out. All you're doing is make yourself look like a biased *****.

Warhammer developers weigh in on 1.1a RvR changes

it's retarded how some people just hate on these patch notes without giving any criticism. Why do you think this new patch messes things up? How the hell is mythic avoiding subscribers?

All you do is just b**** and moan.

Fallout 3 nukes UK competition, outsells previous franchise installments

Nov 4th 2008 7:57PM (Joystiq)
Fallout Tactics and fallout 3 are both made by different companies than the originals, both change the gameplay drastically, and both have plots that have very little to do with the originals. So why would you get mad when Fallout tactics is as much of a "sequel" to the originals as Fallout 3?

E308: Warhammer Online trailer showcases RvR combat

"I can't believe that a more modern game would limit Final confrontations (Capital City in this case) to 48 vs 48."

The 48 vs 48 instance is the fighting on the street portion of the capital city raid, and is instanced to give many groups of people access to the pve content within the instance. the 48vs48 number is subject to change. There were some beta servers running 72 vs 72 for instance.

Finally, the world pvp is not limited. and that is where the best pvp is found.

Massively goes to WAR: How to conquer a capital city

Jun 12th 2008 10:37PM (Massively)
"If someone is going to take my city they should have to do it by taking it from my cold corpse. There should be a grand assault and fighting in the streets not because 48 people ran some quest faster than the other team"

You totally misread. There is a grand assault, and there is fighting in the streets. The "quests" that you are competing to do is are PVP in nature, not PVE. Your objective is to kill defending players, not kill X amount of npcs.

Massively goes to WAR: Is there any PvE in Warhammer's endgame?

"I like the fact that in wow i can sign up for a raid on the weekend and have immediate access to it, no muss no fuss."

2 things:
1. You can still raid on your own schedule via WAR's public quest system.
2. When a faction's capitol is ransacked, the raid instances are open to you for like a week, so it is quite flexible when you raid.

"If they impliment it the way they are talking here its going to drive away alot of the older crowd."

You can still raid, but you can't farm the same raid boss repeatedly ad nauseum. This will not have much of an impact considering most people hate playing the same shit for the 50th time in a row.

Bornakk speaks on the whole esports thing

"the Lifebloom nerf devastated PvE-oriented Tree of Life Druids"

Daniel, you based this on a speculation made long before the patch was released. Life bloom nerf did not affect PVE resto at all because the nerf was countered by a fix to a resto talent that cancelled things out. Nothing changed to lifebloom for PVE restos, and druid pve healing is stronger than ever now thanks to the spirit-regen buff.

In the end, your argument has no merit.

Engadget & Joystiq interview: Peter Moore, head of Xbox

Codelogic,
Texture quality on the PS3 will always be limited by its puny 256 mb of video ram. Blue ray means higher definition pre-rendered cutscenes. There will be no significant difference between the fidelity of PS3 in game and Xbox360 in game shots. Its just physcially impossible. Way to go Sony for using Nvidia Geforce 7 for their GPU.

Gnome corpse advertisement in WoW by gold farmers

synce: "Reading about WOW gives me that extra boost of self-confidence I can always appreciate. It's nice knowing you're better looking and more successful than at least 8 million fellow gamers."

If reading about WOW can boost your self-confidence... wow.... you must be really pathetic.
