This is a step in the right direction for the GNU/Linux using community, and for open source as a whole. Please, I urge you, tell your friends about GNU/Linux. Hand out free LiveCDs. Unlike Windows, you're legally allowed to give copies away. Also, unlike Windows, you can try various GNU/Linux distributions out first without committing to an installation. The time is now, let's break free of Microsoft's locked-in world. :]
This is one of the things that needs to happen in order for Linux to get more mainstream desktop use. There's already a bunch of amazing distributions out there, most of them are arguably better (more streamlined, faster, more secure) than Windows. Gaming has always been the one area that Linux has fallen short. :\
