If, and I repeat, IF they do this right it will be more awesome than words can describe. If they keep the unique mission style that was a hallmark of the entire Neverwinter Nights series and build upon it further like every followon from the original has done. If they keep the classes as varied and as balanced as they have managed to so far. But most of all, if they can prevent the sort of insane overpowering that can happen in most MMOs, WOW included. In D&D 3.5, (The ruleset used by NWN) a group of two or three well built, complementary characters are capable of defeating a foe many times their level. Guilds are all well and good, but when it takes most of a large guild to take down a high level boss, you know something's gone wrong. The basis of the D&D and NWN (1 and 2) system was that if you were 1. lucky and 2. knew your stuff, you could take out a powerful dragon with maybe four level 8-10 characters.
If they can capture that ideal in this as well as they have in the series so far then I will accept Atari as the one true god of video gaming. And if not, well, it should still be a blast to play.
