PSP firmware 6.20 now available

I know Canadians are starting to sound like broken records, but seriously. The comic service doesn't list Canada.

For most movies (and comics) the companies that own the Canadian distribution rights for these properties are usually the Canadian branches of the same companies!

PSA: PlayStation Video Service expands to Europe today

Not only is Canada excluded from a video download service, but the Blu-ray copy of Godzilla that I bought with a Digital Copy for my PS3/PSP DOES NOT WORK. When I called Sony they said it was because I'm in Canada and cannot use the code.

Why would they put on the Canadian packaging a feature that is impossible to use in Canada? Isn't that class-action-worthy?

Any chance you guys might update the Instrument Compatibility Matrix to include some of this year's games? It hasn't been updated in almost a year.

All these speed boosts are useless when BD-RE is still only at 2x. Is any manufacturer actually working on 4x BD-RE???

Pioneer's 12x BDR-205 Blu-ray burner is so fast it's ahead of its time

DVD 1x is about the same data writing speed as 8x CD. BD 1x is about the same as DVD 3x.

Part of the math has to do with the fact that the pits and hills are physically smaller on each successive technology, so more bits can be written in a single revolution.

ie. pits that are 1/2 the size hold twice as many bits of data, so one revolution is _like_ having 2x

Argh. Still only 2x BD-RE. When will that get improved?

I'm not asking for spontaneous instant-writing or anything, but even 4x BD-RE would save me 20 minutes at a time on 25 GB writes.

Now we need something like this in Canada, where the CRTC has taken a firm stance to let the Internet police itself. It's helped us gain many rights, but has also legitimized practices like traffic shaping.
