My two cents: If you are an RPG afficionado and if you have the appropriate hardware, wait a couple of weeks until another patch comes out and go buy it. It won't get any more immersive than that. And it's too good to be tagged a "cult classic" in ten years.
I spoke to the sega representative at GC and he told me that the 360 version sega shows is several months older than the ps3 one. That explains the differences and makes a fair comparison impossible.
Boll is not only clever (he earned a PHD in film/literature), he's also a really nice, down-to-earth guy - with no talents in moviemaking whatsoever. What would you do, if you had the opportunity to make one movie after another? that's right: make them. So let's just leave him in peace.
