America's Army coming to arcades

It'd better not take any friggin' quarters. I shouldn't have to pay for propaganda. It should also be free.

If you look really closely, you can see the strings.

OJ Simpson + All-Pro Football 2K8 mascot = Drama

What ever, he was found innocent, last time I checked. This is pure coincidence. It's not like they'd leave Pete Rose out of an all-time all-star baseball game, and he did those things of which he as accused.

Silicon Knights sues Epic over Unreal Engine 3 'inadequacies' [Update]

This is one of the most powerful engines currently being license: of course it's going to be hard as fuck to use it to build a game.

I guess they can't all be Source :P

Joystiq impressions: Ace Combat 6

Jul 19th 2007 10:55AM (Joystiq)
Finally! The Ace Combat 6 gets some damned play. I first rented AC5 about two years ago, and had it beat by the end of my three day rental. I've been a fan since. AC6 has looked groin grabbingly good since I first saw it, and I'm glad someone new to the series (like me, just a scant few months ago) was able to pick up and get some serious enjoyment out of it.

To simply state that the combat, of Ace Combat, is "intense" is a horrid understatement; just pick it up and go at a few missions and you will realize this.

Joystiq hands-on: The Orange Box

Well, okay, you're right. The game does not blow, but no one plays it. Isn't it free if you have an ATI card? Maybe this will raise it's profile so that more people will get online, but we'll probably all be occupied with TF2

I was thinking a bit, and I can see some people having a serious problem with the fact that none of the games are the same. It's like a variety pack, in a way. Anyone who loves the Half-Life 2 game and setting might be disappointed with the fact that the online game isn't Half-Life 2: Multi-player (which, if you look at HL2: Deathmatch, it blows) but, instead, an entirely different title. I'm not one of these people, but I'm saying, they might be out there.

Personally I liken it to getting Doom 3, Quake Wars, and Prey, all for the price of one game.

Joystiq hands-on: Mass Effect

Actually, never mind, you're only half the 'tard I think you are, because I'm betting you can switch between 1st and 3rd on the fly, depending on your preference.

You're a 'tard Beau. Not only do you have an idiotic method of choosing your games, you also probably have absolutely no idea what the terms are, considering all you have to do is look at the screens to figure it out.

I fucking love boobs, and boob shaped armor!

But, seriously, am I being a complete BioWare fanboy, or do those character models look better than just about anything out currently?
