Wow... all these comments on Ubi! No one seems to care about GameDrop/Multiplayer though. Does anyone actually read that faux-hip MTV pseudo-journalism stuff? Between Joystiq and Kotaku, what other blogs do you really need?

I live in Chicago, tried them a 2nd time when they opened a d.c. in PA and just canceled again.
Sick of waiting 8-10 days for a game and that's not even getting into the no shows.
Hollywood has unlimited game rentals for $19.99 a month now. Instant gratification wins over selection this time.

MTV spending $500 million on games in next two years

Is this 500mil on game dev or lifestyle/ubercool/journalism b.s.?
If Gamedrop is a sign of things to come from MTV, then don't expect much. Perhaps they will just buy 1up and EGM and call it a day. Ziff has been trying to unload for over a year now.
