Nikon D3100 SLR, Coolpix S1100pj and S5100 compacts leaked in German magazine

So you think continuous autofocus for video is better than a built in motor for legacy lens drive, top screen, and redundant hard buttons for some features?

You sound like a serious photographer!

Doubt it. What Engadget likes to do is show that it can use a currency converter (as if that means anything for anybody). So, at the moment they did the conversion (a moment that has passed) that was the rate. It in no way corresponds to the consumer retail price in the United States.

Engadget should stop doing this. It is not helpful or clever - it is only useful if the price for other products on either side are given in that currency for comparison.

Unfortunately you just described human nature. I am not sure you can ever eliminate it.

We use English. I stopped reading when it was clear a 4th grade student was typing.

Not a good use of the word "naive". You fail to understand the problem that is being discussed here, and that is the policing by committee of what is proper and what is not. It is hard to draw boundaries around these things. I agree with this being in poor taste and do not agree with the messages - but what else do I think is in poor taste? What do you think is in poor taste? What about that guy? Maybe I hate muppets because they scare me ... you end up with "sometimes free speech as long as certain people are ok with it".

How would you change Nikon's D3S?

Mirrorless? What are you talking about? It's as if you have no idea what it is you are commenting on.

Fewer features.

Kin listed as at least $240 million writeoff in Microsoft earnings report

Jul 23rd 2010 5:14AM (Engadget)
You can't add the Danger acquisition to this figure. It doesn't work that way. While there were likelyy elements of that intellectual capital that went toward the phone, everything that Microsoft got from Danger is an asset that survives this whole kin thing.

Engadget - you need to stick to what you do best and stop trying to helpfully "reinterpret" 10Ks, cash flow, foreign currency exchange , and other company financial statements for your readers.
