I didn't mean a miraculously abrupt reversal in the state of affairs. That would be deluded. I was thinking of a more gradual progression, one where Sony didn't necessarily come out on top, but one where it steadily recovers its losses.
Hmmm... It appears that my comment was misconstrued as being "fanboyish". A second reading made me think that the optimism in my post could have contributed to that. Now, mine may be an unreasonably positive prediction for Sony, true, but I hope--for the sake of the gaming industry as a whole--that they learn something from their humbling experience. (The PSP Go was a step back, though, I admit.)
2010 might be the year that Sony makes a turnaround. The PS3's going to get some good releases this year. Sony might want to do some more aggressive marketing for their system in light of that.
