I don't know if I quite agree with the ideology behind it, but I am ready for gold sellers to stop spamming chat.

(I didn't actually read the comment so...)

THIS is how you do a spoiler comment people.

+1 for thoughtfulness.

Rumormill: 470-hp 2014 Cadillac ATS-V?

Jan 19th 2011 5:15PM (Autoblog)
My question is not if GM/Cadillac can make a performance car. One needs only look at the Corvette for that. The question is if they can deliver a car on par performance wise while not giving up the comforts people expect in a luxury car.

One of the universal complaints of the Corvette is the seats. While people will abide a Corvette not having a super comfy interior since its a sports car, the general public won't be quite so understanding of a "luxury car" having few amenities, and bad ergonomics.

We shall see. I'm really excited to see what they do with this. The CTS was a big step in the right direction.

2012 Chevy Sonic shown off as sedan and hatchback

And I definitely wouldn't mind seeing that gauge "cluster" move to more vehicles. That is so cool looking.

I'm ready for some concept car stuff to start moving into production.

If I remember correctly, this comes from a collaboration with Opal.

I mean cheap in quality of materials, not in price.

If they can keep this a not-cheap car (think Cavalier) I can see this doing well in its own right. It won't be a volume model like the Malibu/Impala (in the US at least), but with respectable goals, I can see this hitting them.

The front end could use a slight touch-up (broaden the grills), and I'd REALLY like to see a coupe (I know it isn't going to happen in the US), but even as a hatchback with a stubby front end, if someone gave this to me, I wouldn't turn it away.

Report: Two Chevy dealers offering special 700-hp Camaro models - just like Yenko and Berger [w/video]

That assumes you bought a crate engine and are installing it into your own car. Not that you bought a car off the lot already modified. THAT'S why I asked the question.

The question I've always had was how does a warranty work on cars like this? Anyone know?

Ford recalling nearly 15,000 F-Series and Edge/Lincoln MKX crossovers

Dec 30th 2010 11:22PM (Autoblog)
AS a matter of fact, I applaud Ford for addressing this issue as quickly as they did. If I were someone in the market right now, this would be a pro. Ford could have known about this issue for years, and never said a thing until people's homes started burning because of the faulty module. Instead, they are addressing this issue within what? 4-5 months of being built?

Ford did the responsible thing here and told the public they made a mistake and are issuing a recall.
