I just bought the MDR-EX38iP's and they sound great. Plenty of bass and the highs are a little piercing at first, so just turn the EQ to 'Treble Reducer' until they fully break in (about 6 hours of use). Yes, double clicking forwards to the next track and triple clicking rewinds the beginning of the track. Yes, the mic is on there and it works really well with my 3Gs and it handles calls as well as the Apple stock earbuds does.

All in all, a good price for a good improvement on the stock earbuds. Recommended!

I am lucky. I have great service (contrary to others opinions of) from T-Mobile and their rates are competitive. I have a beautiful unlocked, jailbroken 3gs that makes great calls (doesn't drop them) and has excellent battery life. It tethers, it multi-tasks apps (Backgrounder) and sends and receives MMS just fine. The only slight bummer is I'm running on EDGE speeds but that is a fine sacrifice to make when considering the alternative.

Thank you Kevin for checking into that! I like T-Mobile...alot! I've had them for about 3 years now. So if I make the jump over to i Wireless, I'm still using local T-Mob service and EDGE data here?

So let me get this straight. I can dump my existing T-Mobile prepaid plan if I can find a local i Wireless retailer in the Phx area and sign up through them? Saves about $12 per month and upgrades me to unlimited calling. Sign me up!
