The only thing I care about is if they get rid of those random computer generated maps and NPCs that scale to your level. I loved Morrowind, but could not stand Oblivion. Everything seemed so meaningless in Oblivion. The dungeons had no personality to them, and why bother leveling or getting better gear when it just meant that everything you fought would be higher level and have better gear too?
This is what killed Final Fantasy XI for me. One of the first creatures you fight in the game are these little rabbit things. They're pretty boring. And there are a lot of them.
So after playing the game for many hours I had to collect 3 keys from different areas in order to be able to get on a boat and go to this brand new island. The quest was a pain, (ended up losing a randomly spawned key because my bags were #*@#*@ full)! But I finally made it to the new island.
And what is the first creature I see on this new island? A stupid rabbit! I think I just logged out and unsubscribed.
@mburstin I contend that the COX DVR is much worse then anything Comcast has ever had. If Comcast doesn't spontaneously forget the shows you record... it's already won!
@upsidedown It's still $70-80. If you're really worried about it, go dig an iPod Shuffle out of any random dumpster.
I think it's kind of sad to see Sony running the "Walkman" brand into the ground with PMPs that look 5+ years old on day 1. They need to get back into the phone market with some Android and/or Windows products.
