1.) true preference pane like palmOS
2.) the ability to add more panes for app
3.) the ability to categorize your apps per pane
4.) add a landscape mode to more apps.
5.) add a slider mode that disables landscape mode.
5 1/2.) add a shake function to enable landscape if your slider mode.
6.) add streaming support for the browsers to relay internet radio to the music player.
7.) add an automatic 24 hours before notification to all calender events.
8.) give us lat/long in google maps
9.) get sirius on board
10.) be more descriptive in Sprint TV categories, and offer an 'are you sure' backout to purchase.

The pre is actually a very durable phone, my wife has dropped hers at least 5 time since getting on the 6th, twice at Cedar Pointe on Thursday, it has the most minute scratches on the outer part of the case and since she dropped it once while opening she has a couple of pavement scuffs at the top near the mirror. Other than that I am very impressed with its durability, it looks flawless unless you put it 6 inches away from your eye.

The cpu will shift to 5-600mhz processor with double the ram, with faster app switching built into the 3.0's software. Which will make iphone 8gb refurb for $50 bucks very plausible.

what may not be announce is OLED display, It may be possible that the screen changes to AMOLED. because Apple has a tendency to ration technology.
