I haven't played the first one yet (back log is gigantic), but the demo had a nice even mix of platforming and gun fights. It didn't feel like one took more over the other.

Seriously. People know the PS3 for being a technical overhaul of a system with the Blu Ray player,card slots,built in Wifi,etc. People know when they buy the PS3 they get the all-in-one box with all the bells and whistles. Don't gut your system and change mid-stream from your true vision of your console just so you can save a buck. If people want a PS3,they'll buy it. Ripping shit out of it doesn't make anyone more inclined to pick one up.

Seriously,i'm going to be so disappointed if an Indiana Jones type of adventure game gets turned into a straight cover shooter just because it sells better.

How about a guitar that works on the PS3 for both Rock Band and the ORIGINAL 2 Guitar Hero games?

Buying Mirror's Edge and then beating it in one day because it's $59.99 and 5 hours long tries my patience SO HARD.

Why? For Van Halen fans,this is huge. An entire game,every aspect,dedicated to their all time favorite band.

But i'm sure your word is gospel and they shouldn't make games if you aren't the primary audience,right?

No,because it's not a just playing Van Halen in the game,it's an entire experience. For people who are Van Halen fans,it's huge. With GH: Metallica all the character models were of the actual band and all the set pieces,loading screens,everything was customized for Metallica fans about THAT BAND.

If you want to just play a few Van Halen songs in the game,then wait for DLC,but that's not what these Guitar Hero: *Band name* titles are and not WHO they are for. They are full experiences of a certain band for their fans.

Personally I would shit for Guitar Hero: Iron Maiden but that won't ever happen so,pants are clean for the time being.
