Look, I know what we have all heard. Believe me I keep track of everything. I understand this concept of Cell being an entire architecture that Sony is pushing. But he has been working really hard "to make sure the PS3 chip gets out on time." He has talked before about the Cell chip so I know he is working on it. I know how forums work, and I know how the information I present looks to the rest of you. You don't have to believe me, I am just giving you the information I know. Maybe there could be manufacturing problems. I don't know. All I know is that an engineer that works for IBM on the Cell chip for PS3 is still involved in getting it ready.

I'd just like to add that someone I know works for IBM and has repeatedly said that he was working on the Cell chip. Just a few days ago he was extremely busy because he said he was finishing up the chip. Now take this with as much salt as you want, because I can't really give you anything to prove what I said is true. But, if you do believe me, this is further proof that the final PS3 build isn't ready yet.

You forget one thing...Xbox could do 720p (and 1080i). If the the Wii can at least do as much as a 5 year old Xbox, it seems entirely possible that Wii can handle 720p.

Hey, one thing I have been wondering about this entire time is if the original Xbox has the processing power to output in 720p and 1080i, is it really to hard to imagine Wii, even though it is so small, being able to do it. Especially considering how old the Xbox is, the higher resolution might easily be the increase in graphics they are talking.
