What does that have to do with this? The Macbook Pro hasn't been updated in months. Are you thinking of the Macbook Air (ie. the thin, expensive, not altogether useful one)?
Although he wasn't, he could have been nabbed another way. The Xbox modchips use modified versions of the real Xbox BIOS. Distributing these counts as copyright infringement.
#2, Wii Sports did not sell with the system (note that they sold two times as many Wiis and they did that game? Know you what numbers are?)
#28, no specific numbers, but I know both numbers were higher (with the Wii leading).
Attach rate is doubly important to Sony because they're selling each console at a slight loss. Nintendo makes money on each console, and on their first party games, which tend to be the top sellers on any of their consoles. In other words, even if they didn't outsell their competitors, Nintendo would be making a killing.
Not commenting on the Wii Remote's battery life, which I'm sure is as annoying as it's claimed to be, but I've replaced the batteries in my Wave Bird at least three times. I've only had it and the Gamecube (go go used consoles) for five months.
Despite his insane capitalization and whatnot, #9 is right. The Wii Remote has an IR image sensor so that it can see where the sensor bar (which has IR LEDs) is, and therefore figure out its position relative to the TV. Bluetooth is used for actual communication, and it seems solid.
These two articles are a decent example of the type of adversarial commentary that this site needs more of.
One-sided blog opinions are fine to a point, but it's always more fun to read two editors with opposing viewpoints argue and bitch over them. Keep up the good work.
