I've been lurking this site for the past 2 years and I just made an account to say that I absolutely LOVE the exterior of this car. MUCH more striking than the standard SLS.
I think everybody is looking at it wrong. I've read all the comments and not one person has brought up what I think will actually happen.
I buy almost all of my games used on kijiji (not Gamestop). Paying 30CAD for a 70CAD game just feels so satisfying. Now when I buy used EA Sports games, do I now magically value them at 40CAD? Nope. I still value them at 30CAD. So what gives? The person selling it to me has to bring the price down to 20CAD.
If anything, this is a slap in the face of the people who buy games new and then try to recoup the cost by selling the copy. What they will now be selling just lost its worth. Instead of re-couping 30CAD they will now be re-couping 20CAD because 10CAD has to go to EA. A commission of sorts. Doesn't affect me in the long run, but it does affect the new game buyer.
Let me summarize some of the engadget comments that explain this OS perfectly. I'm too lazy to go back and look for who posted them so please don't sue me for plagiarizing

Before you call me an Apple fanboi, I'd like to make public the fact that I work for Microsoft in a completely unrelated division. I just don't think WP7S was/is a good idea anymore. :(
No one is more disappointed about that fact than myself. :(
This is a one week only deal. Its not meant to be blowing out Arcade stock since stock isn't that good to begin with. (Tried to buy an Arcade over the weekend, and yesterday, failed because of out of stock)
Its more of getting share back from PS3 and pre-empting the God Of War III launch. People only have so much money to spend on gaming per month right?
I'm hoping to pick one up for the Windows Media Xtender as well! Hopefully I'll find one in stock soon.

My machine boots up a few seconds faster, my browser loads instantaneously!!! Everything seems more responsive.
The only concern I have is that my drive clicks randomly when no data is being read/written. :S
