@onslaughtree Sentinel is upper tier, but he's not that great. Good assist, good for DHCs, but if he gets touched, he's done. A lot of characters make Sentinel look free.
@myktek I'm not an MK player, but if it's like any of the other fighting games, Throw/Tag/Change Stance are all probably a combination of buttons. Don't quote me on that, but it makes sense to me.
@Deuce But that's the point, this is to show off his technical proficiency, and also to demonstrate what he believes to be the longest combo possible in the game.
It's not meant to be flashy, it's not meant to be viable in actual game play.
It's called precision and execution. Best example? Zangief. Pianoing 4 buttons is much faster than doing a 360 (or 270 because of shortcuts in SF4) on the stick. This allows Zangief to pull off his 720 Ultra much easier. Most people have to try and buffer it through a jump-in, but with this, it's pretty much instant.
Also, just watch the video when he's dashing, it's so much faster to do with just a double button press.
Not a problem, sir. I come from the world of competitive gaming, and so it's frustrating for me to see the only playlist with a bit of competitive flavor get worse.
I really am surprised though that no one is annoyed that you don't get to even vote for a map anymore in Team Arena.
They ruined Team Arena. They took out the option to play Slayer Pro (which wasn't even really Pro, it still had radar), so now it's only Slayer DMRs (in other words, you can always use Armor Abilities rather than voting against them), and they force the map on you now. No voting is done whatsoever.
Team Arena was already horrible with the rating system that doesn't make any sense, but now it's even worse.
