The precursor to Horde, Firefight etc could be thought to be the Invasion gametype for the Unreal Tournament series.

Each airline should be responsible for its own security, and should contract security responsibilities as they see fit. When a private security contractor fails to secure a plane, the airline will be held responsible by its customers. Then airline will then be forced, by the market, to repair its security image by firing the failing contractor and hiring a better one. Through this competitive market each and every one of us will be safer.

An additional advantage is that individual flyers will have the free choice to choose the balance between security and privacy. For those afraid of terrorists, and not worried about privacy issues related to full body scanners, they can choose to fly on an airline that uses such tools to meet that market demand. Likewise, the opposite is true.

Paraphrasing the Ironman 2 trailer, "I have done you a favor. I have successfully privatized airline security."
