MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries free web site back online . . or not [Update]

May 4th 2010 12:22AM (Big Download)
Game runs fantastic on a netbook, the MTX program still has a few bugs to work out, but aside from that it's great to play this gem. Their updated software now supports an offline mode where you can install their *.mtx patches that can be downloaded through legal torrent channels through the software itself, just in case their servers crash again. A nice afterthought, even if it is an afterthought.

Forza 3 director on 60fps, Gran Turismo 5

What you said. If Forza Motorsport 2 hadn't been announced in may of '06, PD would have gone ahead with Gran Turismo HD and their GT4-based Engine, itunes-styled pricing for cars and tracks, and would have been a PS3 launch title. (Sony Defense Force, PROVE ME WRONG). I see GT5 being a stellar game that lives up to the series legacy, but in all honesty, we do have T10 to thank for bringing some serious competition to the table. The only clear winner is us, the consumer to have two companies stepping up to the plate and pouring what they have into their games.

Head tracking seems to be a given, but there are also other possibilities like browsing menus (on screen keyboard for searching perhaps?), moving and applying decals (as stated above), or on-screen gestures while using a wheel (horn honking, adjusting mirrors, flipping birds). As long as it's supplementary, and above all completely optional, I'm fine with it.
