That is very interesting. I ordered my copy of Dark Souls (Xbox 360) months ago, with 1 day / release date delivery. I just checked my Amazon order and bank statements, and my card has still NOT been charged, the status is still 'not yet shipped', and the estimated delivery date is 10/6. At least it is still giving me the option to cancel. I will just run to the store today and pick it up. To be fair, I order pretty much all my games through Amazon, and this is the first time this has happened.

I just checked to see if my copy was shipped yet through Amazon. I ordered the limited edition months ago, with release date delivery, and it says it has not yet shipped, and has a delivery date set of 10/6. I called Amazon, and the customer service lady said it looks like they are shipping their copies out later than release date because they did not receive their shipment in time, or something (she didnt sound really sure what was up). Anyone have an amazon order that says it has shipped already or that you will receive it tomorrow?

Never again, Gamestop. It has been a few years since I stopped shopping there, as more often than not they tried selling me an unshrinkwrapped and fingerprinted game disc as new. And everytime I preordered a game there, they always seemed to be out of the preorder bonus items, even when I was one of the first people there to pick the game up in the morning. Now with this horrible thing going on, I have absolutely zero trust in gamestop and will NEVER shop there again, ever. Amazon and Ebay are all I need.

I preordered Dues Ex on Onlive (it came with a free micro console). I'm really impressed how well it plays on Onlive, actually!

I had no problem playing Reach, but I couldnt get a match to connect in Mortal Kombat.

I agree. I got about 1/2 way through Bulletstorm before quitting. And I am usually one of those people who plays any game, all the way to the end. I absolutely hated the story, characters, and attempted humor in that game. I at least beat DNF and can say I enjoyed playing it. I never played a Duke Nukem game before they came out on XBLA, so I was not at all a fan of the series before playing it.

Actually, Joystiq's review of Duke Nukem Forever actually helped me enjoy it more. After all the bad, horrible reviews I read about the game, my expectations were pretty low. Then, I got a coupon for a free game on Onlive, which I used on DNF. After I started playing it, I realized that it wasn't all that bad. I had quite a bit of fun with it. The only real complaint I had would be the loading times. Sure, I got it for free and all, but I have to say, I think a lot of reviewers were a little overly critical of it.

Yeah, I won't be buying it either. It's interesting how in those last couple of sentences, the author of this article assumes everyone holds the game in such high regards.

Yeah. I played 1 about halfway through, and beat part 2. I usually love these types of adventure / RPG games, but something about this series just didn't click for me. I don't really have much interest to play Fable 3.
