@trinica I don't think you know about the development of this game. The reason it took this long is because the developers cared waaaay too much about producing a quality game, and didn't properly limit the scope because they didn't know how to manage a project.

@The Mysterious Wanker X It's kind of tough to make a good d-pad when all the good designs were patented 20 years ago. I guess they could license Sega's d-pad from the Genesis 6 button controller. I doubt that would cost much and Sega could sure use the extra cash.

@copa The Dreamcast VMU was also able to be used separately from the controller, and was able to be directly connected to other VMUs. And it was 12 years ago.
