There was a poll on his blog, maybe last week, where he asked what would be most important in a new Twisted metal Game.

I don't remember the exact phrasing, but the choices were something of "Single-player gameplay", "Multi-player gameplay", "I'm European and don't play Twisted Metal" and something else.

This doesn't mean he's working on a Twisted Metal game, more likely just getting ideas for the game he's working on. It was an intriguing poll, though.

"Cross-game Voice Chat" is not like a phone-line. The only thing Sony would have to do is establish a peer-to-peer connection between members. It's the same way the current chat feature works.

I think the high resolution enlargement technology will make for great use in games like Gran Turismo. I would love to just browse through some car catalogs, view videos, and visit the manufacturer's website.

Can anyone think of other great uses for the technology?

I hope any DLC released for Fat Princess is free. If they do charge for DLC, it will split the online community. Killzone 2 and Warhawk are great examples of this.

The first one gets the message across at the end by saying, "PS3, now 299."

I felt like the second one would make the PS3 seem like it didn't have any of those features, if someone wasn't really paying attention to the commercial or was bad at recognizing sarcasm. We all know people like that (especially middle aged).

Of course I'm not in advertising and I'm sure this commercials will do just fine.

Instead of asking "why?" you should be thanking those people.

There are three ways Sony is off-setting the cost of Home: Premium content, advertisements, and sponsorship type opportunities for game and non-game brands.

The latter two are not enough to keep Home free for the amount of users they anticipate.

It's fine if you don't want to buy premium content (I don't either), but don't ridicule those who do. It's their money and it's keeping Home free.

I am not a professional market analyst but...

...they probably will not drop the price for some time. They have continually said, since TGS (E3?), that they will not be dropping the price, and it seems they are getting frustrated with the rumors. Once rumors about a price drop circulate, sales tend to slump (since people wait to by a console until the price drops) and naturally an official statement will be released to counter-act the rumors.

So you're not helping PS3 sales by saying prices will drop soon, as if it's fact.

We already have digital broadcast. The only difference is Europe uses DVB-T while we use ATSC.
