Thanks for all the time you spent reviewing the only phone I have cared about in years Engadget. Peace... I guess I'll be getting my tech news from Giz and others now. And to your update, if there isnt such a difference how come I have read 4 other reviews, most of which compare the differences between the two new phones. You didnt even take the time to say that the battery capacity had changed then you hide behind the fact that 'well, the other tech sites arent doing full reviews. look we were only a little lazier then them....'

I don't know what HTC has said, or if 'with Google' is different from 'Google Experience', but Google has confirmed a little while back that 'with Google' is a title that can be put on any android phone that doesn't restrict what apps are added (all market place apps) and that they come preloaded with Google's suite of tools (mail, maps, talk, etc, etc).

The different versions of android are confusing as shit. I'm guessing that there is no chance. I think that because it has been 'confirmed' from Verizon's internal computer that it will be getting a HTC android phone called the Desire. Could the Desire be a renamed Hero, yes. Will it be similar, defiantly.

I'm gonna go out and say that other then the word of someone who snapped this photo, we don't have any proof that this is the Hero. But as of today the HTC Desire was proved to be real in Verizon's computer. I think it is just as likely that this is the Desire (another CDMA HTC Android phone) that has yet to be seen.

@dajobo I could be wrong, but I believe he was saying why couldn't this just be another (unreleased) HTC phone. One we have not heard about before. Which is a valid point, if HTC had time to make this phone since its roadmap was leaked in January then why could this not be an entirety different phone?
