I'm not sure what you mean by it not showing up on Cydia because it's a command-line app... Lots of the packages on Cydia/Telesphoreo *are* command-line apps.
I have a jailbroken 1.1.2 iPod touch with iTunes 7.4.2, and apart from the first notice when the January Update first came out, I haven't gotten anything about it since.
As BPMΩ said, the Sony fanboys are definitely overreacting to this article. Joystiq is merely pointing out that GameStop has ample supply and they're going insane thinking they're bashing the PS3.
The fact is: Sony somewhat screwed up this launch. And I'm a Sony fan. I've always considered the PSone to be superior to the N64 and the PS2 superior to the GameCube. But the PS3 right now, is far from being as good of a system as the Wii or the 360. Both the Wii and 360 have titles that might make me buy the system. While Resistance looks like a badass shooter, is it worth paying over $600 for?
I somehow doubt it. Not only do I not have that money, but buying a system for one game is stupid unless the console itself is really cheap.
I'm talking to all the other Sony fans here: Get over whatever complex you have. The PS3 in its state right now is not selling. What the PS3 needs are more killer apps and maybe then it'll be worth getting. But for now, I'll stick with my PS2.
