@MrHashbrown as i'm a non us citizen, can someone explain this "rebate" thing? it's something we don't have in europe or anything remotely similar.

Them and 02 are pretty much the same prices and they own the market between them, i'm with one of the under dogs with a SE C905, a good phone (better be for what i paid for it) but i do lust after an android phone....

@dr house, taking ages to do 0.1? what about ur beloved apple OSX? which updates on a 0.01 basis? i'm guessing they take a good bit longer to release a 0.1 update then google does.

@ major4play i've seen a compaq with a 2.1ghz dual core amd with 4gb of ram, an ati card with 128mb and either a 250gb or 320gb hdd (can't remember) for €549 and this is supposed to be good value for €499?

at first i thought the keyboard on the kiki looked like it flipped over the touch screen like the old p910i

@hashbrown hunter, i hate to break it to you but every single android phone on the market to date have ALL been made by HTC

tmobile g1 (HTC Dream)
tmobile myTouch 3G (HTC Magic)

Now they're showing the world what they can do when given the go ahead to do what the hell they want with the GUI and i looks AMAZING (much better then the touch sense 3D that they use on win mo imho)


So why would HTC care if a HTC custom build of Android is ported to a HTC device?

@ omonii I'm a customer of 3 ireland and i find the mobile net + free msn quite usefull! (i have a c905) also for txt messages they are by far the cheapest (3c a txt, http://three.ie/priceplans/3pay.htm) so far i haven't used the skype feature as most of my friends are on msn and none are on skype, and none are on 3 so free skype to skype would be pretty useless unless i convince all my friends to get a skype account and a 3 phone.

@Spoon! i think that refers to 95% of the population, not the geographical area of ireland. It'd be nice if it was the latter though (i visit the remote countryside once a year if i can, sadly no 3G coverage :`( )

So only xbots need apply? Pass!
