So, do these not overheat every minute like my previous two macbook pros do? The one I currently have is at 160 degrees and the fans are going at 3000rpm when its doing almost nothing.
Plus, the whole thing about them being forced to do in-app purchases instead of their own store, if that is the case, is just plain stupid. Apple trying to get into the profits of the developers of the apps? Thought Apple was supposedly "better" than that, the underdog mentality. Obviously not, Apple at this point dosent really need that extra profit, I mean come on: The sales of almost all their products is very high now.
It seems it is still up in the air as to what this means for Java. Java on Mac seems to be leading to either, no java on os x at all anymore, old version that dosent get support, or Sun/Oracle/whoever will pick up Java for mac.
If Java gets removed from OS X completely, Ill probably be looking for a new OS, possibly Ubuntu. While I dont use Java all that often, the principle in my opinion is Apple saying that something as popular as java isnt needed for mac users, which is clearly not the case. Next, it could be Flash or some other thing that Apple dosent like for whatever reason.
Have you ever tried it? You say probably. I can run a game through wine on a mac with great performance. Think about how good its going to be going native. By the way, for those wanting to play Sins on OS X, I got that working extremely well on os x through wine. I have the graphics set on everything at high and its run great.
Ive played Call of Duty 2 and those games native to os x and they run great. The only one I have seen so far that just ran bad was BF2142 on its older patches since its not even native, its using a bad version of wine to do it.
