I used to work in a kitchen as a dishwasher. When things were particularly slow and I was especially hungry, I would make one of my favorite treats. Take a hot dog, slice it long ways (but not all the way through). Stuff the slit with cheddar cheese. Then, wrap the whole thing in a couple slices of bacon. Throw it in the deep fryer for a few minutes and you're good to go. Heart attack, here I come!
@SteamPunkJin Seriously. I'm looking forward to checking out No Control, but I can think of about 50 other BR songs I would love to play. Pretty much the entire All Ages album.
Looks like a fun game, but I'm not sure I like how long the little bonuses stay on screen. "Headshot +100" and such just seem to linger a bit too much. It looks really distracting at the part where he picks up the gatling gun and it says "Full Throttle" all over the screen.
On the right hand side of this article, you have the release date for Rage listed as "Available Now". Please fix this, for it has gotten my hopes up to an unbearable level.
@Warrior. Yeah I'm not really sure where the hate for Obsidian comes from. They somehow have this bad rap as a company that picks up sequels no one else wants to make. Seemed to work for KotOR II and Neverwinter Nights 2 though. I would just stay away from their original IP (I'm looking at you, Alpha Protocol).
@Mayor West. I too was surprised it was called out as a Bayonetta-esque game. Why Bayonetta over Ninja Gaiden, God of War, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, or any other insanely violent hack-n-slash?
Seriously, BC2 and MAG can completely co-exist. I have both, they are very different.
MAG, yes it has 256 players and massive battles, but you're never really fighting 256 people at once. This just makes it so that, across a giant map, there are very few "dead-zones" and you can always be in the action. Overall, its a fantastic squad and objective based shooter, but I feel the shooting mechanics are kind of clunky - probably due to it being on a console.
BC2 on the other hand is my new top PC FPS for the time being. The controls are very solid, just like any veteran PC gamer would like them. The guns, sound and environments are incredibly realistic (when I was firing inside a sub-pen, there was a distinct difference in sound and echo to my shots). It is all very tight, and I don't mean that like "yo bro that shits so tite!" Unfortunately I can't really speak for the multiplayer action yet (servers are down), but what I've seen from the demo and several gameplay vids, the intensity of action is still there despite the 32 player cap.
