I'd buy it. I'm sure a shitton of other people would do. I say go for it. (especially since there was a mod for the PC version where they tried to make it online, no idea how it turned out though)

How could they make it even smaller? I guess if they trimmed that one section off and made it just the size of the disc drive, making it into a thin CD player sized thing.

I dunno though, I still like my fatass PS2, The smaller one I worry about falling off the shelf. Shelf components should always be at least a certain size I think.

Who keeps buying this "Mad Catz" crap. Mad Catz and Pelican each make without a doubt the most garbage accessories ever. I don't even know how this shit gets approved for shelves, its such low quality you would think there would be a point where someone steps in and says no, you can't sell this, its just too low quality. Even the brand name is ridiculous.

Please stop buying this garbage so this company can stop making it.

I already own nero (and most people just pirate it anyway). Firmware has always flashed fine for me on everything I buy and I always buy OEM if its available. In fact I don't even bother with official firmwares, I like my drive with advanced burn strategies, no RCP1 protection, no Riplock, and full bitsetting control.

Everything else in the retail package is stuff like a manual you'll never read and a SATA cable you probably already have. Is it really worth all that extra money?

Holy shit have fun upgrading that. (Although did you really expect it to be any different?)
