When I spent three days defeating the devil in GH3 and only won by putting a mirror next to the TV to deal with lefty switches.

I'm aware that recipes start at 350 for enchanting, but will an Eternium Rod be necessary for crafting the next rod up, so we'll have to go back and make that rod once we do hit 375 in wrath? Or can you skip from the 350 rod straight to a Northrend one?

Note: back when the infernal was 70, you could use Demonic Sacrifice on a normal pet and then bring him out for extra dps. That was the plan on Archimonde at least... until I got air bursted >.

So as I see improved scorch (if it is 15% to all three schools as Christian says) it basically bumps arcane mages up to the level of other pure casters by giving them fire's scorch (which balances well with the ISB nerf + shadow weaving to seem fairly equal) while apparently, and I don't know, putting frost mages WAY ahead of the curve with scorch AND winter's chill. Maybe I'm wrong (and I probably am, never played a mage), but expect that to get nerfed.

*sigh*... as awesome as it is to get a bop wand for my enchanting, raiding warlock, that level 80 wand that (inexplicably) uses void crystals is approximately equal to the Wand of the Forgotten Star from Solarian in a level 70 mid-tier raid instance. Considering this enchanter's wand is like 1000g I can't see why it wouldn't be at least level 80 quality. Color me disappointed :(

Then again I'm somewhat more hardcore and like you said, that would be a sweet wand for getting into Naxx with. It's just not the FROZEN SHADOW-WIN set of level 70.

Hey, so since the keynote title is "Your music is the game," I suppose the algorithm'd beats will be Harmonix' shot at creating the holy grail of rhythm games, that through sheer programming awesomeness will never need DLC or a sequel, just a library of music (anyone still listen to that?).

Personally, that sounds really f'ing amazing.

It is really quite subtle. You don't control the bottle (or even the balloon) directly, and there's no winning or losing, just a high score. And it looks fantastically bright and soft, very pastel-ish. I think it's art, but I have a loose definition of art.

Probably, after all the exclusives for new-gen consoles get beaten to death, mention how a little sequel called God of War 2 is making the PS2 the sexiest 7 year-old in town. (Hey, for racehorses and consoles, seven is ancient). Hey, what's going to happen with Super Paper Mario? Ported to Wii, I hope. Yeah, that and whatever the above have said.

I hope we see a full 2006 compilation of the data next week, and maybe some line graphs or pictograms.

I fail to see how 10.99 for a Playstation game is an incredible value compared to 10.00 for an N64 game. Although six bucks buys a Turbo Grafx game or a Playstation game... that's a bit better.
